My career journey began with a prayer to augment the income of my young family with a toddler. My prayer was answered when I was hired to work in childcare at a reputable health club in the bay area where we lived. Included in my application was a side note that I aspired to become a group exercise instructor. I attending an exhilarating experience of group exercise at a local church and I was hoping to inspire others

at the health club. I felt blessed when the fitness director of the health club asked me if I would like to instruct pre and postnatal exercise. I replied, “MOST DEFINITELY!” That began a path towards education, certifications and experience in the health and well-being industry.

My pursuits led me to achieve certification as a pre and postnatal exercise instructor, group exercise instructor, personal trainer, Pilates Mat and Pilates Reformer specialist, corrective exercise specialist, massage therapist and a health and well-being coach focusing on behavior change with evidence based coaching excellence.


I have had the pleasure, the pain, and the invigorating experiences of participating in sprint and international triathlons, runs, marathons and climbing mountains such as Mt. Whitney and Half Dome.


I am currently an entrepreneur and the sole proprietor of Body & Mind Fitness where I enjoy transforming lifestyles through personal training and health and well-being coaching. My in studio equipment that I value is a Pilates Reformer, massage table, TRX and a plethora of cross training gear. I keep my personal fitness heightened through instructing group exercise classes at local health clubs.



When I am not inspiring others to a lifestyle of vitality, I can be found nourishing my Christ centered faith, enjoying my marriage, engaging with anyone of my ten grand kids, spending quality time with my three sons’s, their families and my extended blended families, cultivating my garden, enjoying outdoor activities, learning how to draw and catching up with good friends. My life is full and I am happy.
